Tutorial: Free Methods On How to Download Videos Online
There are several methods for downloading videos online, below are the quickest and easiest methods and they won't cost you any money, all the different methods use only freeware which can be downloaded by following the links provided.
Method 1: Downloading Videos Online
Install the free version of realplayer and then watch out for the download video button (see picture below)

Method 2: Downloading Videos Online
Install Firefox (Website Browser) and then install download helper, download helper is a Firefox extension tool for web content extraction. It's purpose is to capture video and image files from many different websites.
The browser will automatically detect any videos which can be downloaded. A multicoloured ball will start rotating to indicate that a video can be downloaded (see the picture below)
- Download FireFox
- Then Install download helper (Freeware)
- Visit the page with the video you want, look for the download symbol (click it) and save the file
- All files from most video sites are .flv files, you may need to convert these to a different format
- Download WM Convertor - an excellent freeware file convetor utility.
Method 3: Downloading Videos Online
Download a video and also convert it into the file format that works with your MP3 player or any other device you are using. Look for the highlighted bird symbol next to the address bar (see picture), this will indicate that a media file can be downloaded.
- You will need to installl Firefox to run Media Convertor
- Download Media Convertor (Freeware)
- Find the page with the file you want, a small bird symbol will light up (see pic)
- Follow the instructions and save the file in the correct format for your MP3 player etc
