Thanks everyone, I have now fixed the Hotspot issue by renettisg the Network Settings and FINALLY have the number/name issue resolved using the Settings >> General >> About trick so I am very happy that everything is at least working normally again APN settings still can't been done on your phone directly but nothing stopping you from configuring those using the iPhone configuration Utility no?! One thing I am still finding is that when you use MAPS to navigate somewhere, you go beyond step 1 of the instructions and then back to edit the destination address turns into an unknown location ODD(bengels has made 2 comments) http://gdnirmkdid.com hlhtezjkf [link=http://xhzhnq.com]xhzhnq[/link]

go to Settings >> General >> About and there is an update to the caerrir settings for Telecom taking it to 11.1 which fixes the contacts bug. It was always a caerrir bundle issue that has now been fixed. Nothing to do with Apple. Nothing to do with Apple is incorrect. Apple host the caerrir bundles on their servers and it is up to them to sign and push them out the caerrirs have no control over this. It isn't like a SIM update that can be pushed OTA.What is interesting (and I didn't know before today) is that Telecom have their own caerrir bundle despite not being an official caerrir. I wonder how they managed that. 2degrees do not appear to have this.Right so names matching and personal hotspot is now fixed. Just the APN menu to go and we'll be back to 4.3 functionality again.(rdw11 has made 15 comments)

I have both a VF and an XT SIM and can confirm the isesus stated above.Luckily, I use the VF line as my main one; but I do feel for the XT users here. It is quite annoying when such a simple thing isn't going right. Reminds me of when I had to unlock' and jailbreak the original iPhone for me to be able to use it on VF back in 2007.In a way this scenario also highlights how we don't rely on remembering phone numbers anymore huh? I learned this the hard way (phone died, needed to make an emergency call, didn't know the number) iOS 5 GM (9A334) is mostly stable in all other respects though, with new features to keep us entertained until the much needed UI refresh I love iOS but I can't help but feel the look is getting stale One more thing Anyone who is experiencing a bit of lag with the iPhone keyboard in some applications? (this is very minimal delay but seems a tad slower if coming from iOS 4.x)(themrx has made 13 comments)

Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my apple ipad and teestd to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!
